This scholarship is open to all Chinese Americans enrolled in any university
(4-year minimum) this September. Eligible candidates must demonstrate
outstanding academic achievement and financial needs. There will be three
$ 1,000 scholarship awards per year.
• All Chinese Americans who are starting freshmen in any college (4-year
minimum) this September will be qualified.
• Must return the application to any Confucius / Mannings Pharmacy by
May 31, 2009.
• All the applications will be reviewed by an independent Award Selection
Committee. Selection will be based on three (3) equally weighed criteria:
academic achievement, financial needs and extracurricular activities.
• Award recipients will be notified on July 1, 2009.
• Scholarships will be renewable each year for four (4) years, subject to
student’s continual academic performance in college and fund availability.
• All employees, and family members of Confucius / Mannings Pharmacies
and the NY Mannings Scholarship Committee are not eligible.
